I thought it would be fun to participate in some Zentangle swaps, thinking (silly me) that I would be able to sit in front of TV and tangle. True to my nature, I put off doing them until the end of the month (actually not when they were due) and added stress, just because I really wanted them done and off my plate. I learned that I should ENJOY them (meditate????) and put my heart back into them instead of my head. Here are several that are either mine or part of the swap.
During a tour of the Aman Hotel with Pietro Dottor, this floor pattern haunted me. After getting home and deconstructing it, I've developed the step out for a part of the floor pattern. This floor is part of the 16th-century palazzo on the Grand Canal – home to museum-quality treasures including Tiepolo frescoes, gilded ceilings and centuries-old leather wall coverings. We were so blessed to be given this beautiful tour morning to spend with Dottor.
Below is the first attempt at deconstruction.
The step out and tiles will be posted soon
