One day traversing the Montgomery Street Antique Mall, I found an antique tennis head cover. Thought it would make a great frame for a glass piece. It took several firings of individual pieces, a couple more firings to get layers and here it is. Lessons learned...I really need to fire one piece at a time if I am going for a certain look. I had wanted this to be more tack fused for higher depth but fired it with another piece contour fused. It softened more of the flowers than I wanted but I am still pleased with the vase effect.
