2020 is behind us. It was a tough year. Still, there were many blessings. Grateful Hearts was born from a small disaster. Being at Harvest Moon Festival in Granbury was so much fun and such a joy on Saturday. Early Sunday morning, strong winds came thru the Plaza and away went my tent, several large, special pieces and many small pieces. It was a mess. But, so many people helped clean up, set up and on we went. When I returned home Sunday night, I was sad with my broken pieces, unable to see a way to “fix” them. I did make the comment during the day, “You’d see them again better than before”. Stumbling across a tutorial about using cast iron molds gave me the idea to show how grateful I am for all that I have (and had left after that storm). My hope for 2021 is for my grateful heart to be expressed in new ways in all my works. Enjoy and be blessed!
